Tek 7's success in audiovisual and teleconferencing has very little to do with technology. Yes, we know what we are doing, but more important, we know who we are doing it for and why. Our client base is corporate and institutional, and we know their needs. We've stumbled across many boardrooms and presentation rooms where the client is unable to use or appreciate their very expensive equipment. Often, these rooms were designed by engineering firms with technology in mind. They are complicated, expensive, and look good on paper. But they fall short in the most critical area: Can and do people use them? Can they rely on the systems? Are they comfortable with both presenting their message and working the equipment? More often than not, the answer is no.
We've had a great many opportunities over the years to address these rooms and mold new ones as well. Our focus is and will remain on the people who use the facility, not the room itself. Quite simply: find out current and future needs, design with the end user in mind, keep it simple to use and maintain, and be there for support, growth, and change. Based on that philosophy, we've grown and prospered. Based on that philosophy, so have our clients.
